IF WHATEVER YOUR EARN, PLUS ANY BENEFITS ARE LESS THAN WHAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY NEED TO LIVE ON, JOIN A LABOR UNION, GO ON STRIKE, AND DEMAND WHAT YOU CALCULATE YOU NEED TO LIVE ON, INCLUDING BENEFITS AND ENOUGH TO ALSO PAY ALL STATE, FEDERAL AND LOCAL TAXES AND COPAYS, DEDUCTIBLES, COINSURANCE AND OTHER MEDICAL FEES.
Members of Congress work on taxpayer-paid salaries and benefits worth more than $250,000/.each, per year. They are part of America's new ROYALTY: CEOs paid millions a year in "EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION" while their employees and their families cannot afford food, a doctor, a decent car or a good education for their kids. Not to mention a decent home. Yet all we get from Congress and corporate CEOs are lame, selfish excuses objecting to paying decent wages and benefits for the work given by Americans, while Congress complains about being "GRIDLOCKED" - but NOT about their OWN pay and benefits!
So do what millions of Americans did in the early 20th Century and for decades thereafter: organize and join labor unions and bargain with employers for better pay and benefits. And go on strike if they refuse. It's the American way. It's legal. And we know doing so is necessary.
